Collection of Vietnamese Embroidery Paintings Available

From Northern Vietnam, handicraft works are a way of life here. The art of Embroidery Painting have been passed down through generations. It take more than 100 Man Hours to complete a single large painting. The colourful threads are chosen carefully and are painstakingly weaved together to form the many beautiful pictures seen here. Consider owning one of these paintings to display proudly in your home.

Sewn using silken threads. The difference between paintings sewn using cotton threads and silk threads are in the texture and shininess. The silk threads make the paintings look richer in colour and more beautiful.

Sewn using silk threads with a very high threadcount. The work is lovely to touch because of the soft and smooth texture of the silk threads. The detailing work done on the rice grains and the traditional Vietnamese lady captures the eye.

Real-life scene of a man pouring the rice only when there's wind. The wind will blow away the husk, leaving behind the grains of rice. Picture taken in Sapa, Ta Fin Village.

The Twin Rocks in the backdrop is the symbol of Halong Bay. The Junk Boat like the one seen is often use as cruise ships around the bay.

Real-life photo of the famous Kissing Twin Rocks. Only when the picture is taken at this angle that the rocks "kiss". At the opposite angle, the twin rocks are said to resemble a fish.

This small lake between the Old Quarter and the French Quarter is central to Hanoian folklore. A ghostly shrine (the Turtle Pagoda) standing on an islet at its center pays homage to a golden turtle.

WATERCOLOUR PAINTINGS
These watercolour paintings were bought in the famous Sunday market in Sapa, where various Ethnic tribes around the region gather together to sell their wares and trade animals.
